Blackheads and tans are two of the most common things that the world witnesses in people. The reason is simple – we play a lot of outdoor games like cricket, football, and hockey without caring much about the sun. This kind of pigmentation is a natural thing to occur when your skin has been exposed to UV rays for long periods and it doesn’t go away for a long time. Moreover, once you have got them, you are stuck with them forever unless you do something about it. Luckily, numerous tricks and remedies help you get rid of blackheads and tans easily. So let’s check out what they are:

How To Remove Tan From Face Immediately?

White vinegar

Mix equal amounts of white vinegar and water and apply it to your face. Allow it to dry completely before rinsing off with lukewarm water.

Sandpaper

Take a piece of sandpaper and rub it gently on your face in a circular motion until the skin is smooth. Rinse with lukewarm water afterward.

Lemon juice

Squeeze lemon juice directly into a bowl and mix it with warm water to make a paste-like consistency (1:1). Apply the mask directly on your tanned face for about 5 minutes, after which wash it off with lukewarm water. The process should be repeated twice daily for best results.

Orange peel mask

Mix 1 teaspoon of grated orange peel in 1/2 cup of boiling water to make a thick paste (1:1). Apply the mask onto the face for about 10 minutes, after which rinse it off with lukewarm water (do not use hot or cold water). You can repeat this process twice daily for the best results. 

Rosewater mask  

Take half a cup of rosewater, mix them well and apply them onto your tanned face for 10 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water.  Do this thrice daily until you see results.   6. Potato peeling method   Squeeze out the potato skin from its pulp and apply it onto your tanned skin as a mask, let it sit there overnight before washing off with lukewarm water. Repeat this process twice daily for best results.

Coconut oil

Mix coconut oil and lemon juice and apply them to your face as a mask for 10 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water (do not overheat the mixture). Do this thrice daily until you see results.   8. Aloe vera gel   Take aloe vera gel and mix it with an equal amount of honey before applying it to your tanned skin as a mask. Let it sit there overnight before washing off with lukewarm water. Do this thrice daily until you see results

Tans Removal Ideas

Lemon Juice

Mix lemon juice with water and apply it to your face as a mask. Leave it on for 10 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water. Do this twice daily until you see results.

Rose Water

Mix rose water and honey together and apply to your face as a mask for 15-20 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water. Do this thrice daily until you see results  

Apple Cider Vinegar

Take one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix it with an equal amount of warm water. Apply the mixture onto your face as a mask for 10 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water. Do this thrice daily until you see results  

One teaspoon of baking soda    

Mix baking soda in an equal amount of warm water and apply it onto your tanned skin as a mask for 10-15 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water. Do this thrice daily until you see results

Sandalwood oil  

Mix sandalwood oil with an equal amount of sugarcane sugar or raw sugarcane powder and apply it onto your tanned skin as a mask for 15-20 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water. Do this thrice daily until you see results 6. Coconut oil   Mix coconut oil and lemon juice and apply to your tanned skin as a mask for 20-25 minutes before washing off with lukewarm water. Do this thrice daily until you see results

Tips To Lighten The Skin Tone

Drink plenty of water

Drinking plenty of water can help your body to get rid of toxins and also flush out dead skin cells. Your body will be able to remove the dead skin cells from the surface of your skin. This will help you lighten the skin tone and make it smooth and even.

Avoid using harsh soaps

Avoid using harsh soaps that contain chemicals that can damage your skin. When you use harsh soaps on a daily basis, you may get dark spots on your skin that will not fade away easily. You should also avoid using any kind of soap that contains glycerin, which is harmful to your skin. You should also avoid washing your face with hot water as this can damage your fragile epidermis layer and make it dry and rough in appearance. Using hot water too often may lead to fissures or cracks on the surface of your skin which are very difficult to heal back again.

Use mineral-based cosmetics

If you have a lot of tan lines, you should instead use mineral-based cosmetics such as creams, gels, or lotions instead of chemical-based cosmetics as these are more gentle for the delicate epidermis layer. Besides, mineral-based cosmetics tend to be lighter in color than chemical-based ones so they do not look dark on tanned skin. Also, mineral-based products tend to be better for sensitive skin and are less likely to cause irritation or rashes compared to chemical-based products.

Avoid using sunscreens containing chemical ingredients

If you are using chemical-based sunscreens, they may make your skin dry and rough in appearance. Your skin will be more prone to damage from harmful UV rays which cause the tanning process. Chemical-based sunscreens can also damage the epidermis layer of your skin which makes the tanning process worse for your skin. If you have sensitive skin and get rashes when you use chemical-based sunscreens, you should instead opt for mineral-based ones which are less likely to cause irritation or rashes.

Avoid using lotions that contain alcohol

If you are using lotions that contain alcohol, they can dry out your skin and make it rough and scaly in appearance. It can also lead to further damage from harmful UV rays which may lead to further tanning. You should instead use lotions that do not contain alcohol as these will not dry out your epidermis layer and damage it further.
