If you’re not a regular user of Google+ and only signed up for the new account activation, then you’ll probably want to know how to delete all your posts on Google+ as soon as possible. A lot of people don’t like having their entire profile filled with superfluous information that most people won’t even read. With this article, you will learn how to delete all your posts on Google+ in just a few minutes. This short tutorial will show you how to do it fast, simply, and effectively. There are many ways to do that, but this one is the easiest and quickest way to completely remove any post from your profile. Read ahead to discover the best tricks.

How To Delete All Posts On Google Plus?

1. Go to your Google+ profile

The first thing you need to do is log into your Google+ account. If you’ve just signed up for a new account, you’ll have to activate it for a few days. In order to do so, you need to create a profile on your personal profile page. Click on the “Create Profile” button and fill in all the details as usual.

2. Go to the settings menu

Once you’re done filling in all the details, go to the settings menu and find the option to “Delete profile”.

3. Confirm that you want to delete your account

This is where most people mess up. They click on that button and then wait for their account to be deleted. However, this doesn’t happen, because there’s a confirmation step before your account actually gets removed from Google+. So, if you don’t complete this step, nothing will happen and your account will still be active. If you do complete this step, however, your account will be deleted immediately without any further action on your side. You just need to confirm that you want to delete it – nothing more than that!

4. Click on the “Delete my Google+ profile” button

Once you finish the confirmation process (which takes only a few seconds), a new window will open with a status indicator. It will show you the status of your account and tell you that it’s about to be deleted.

5. Click on the “Remove Profile” button

Click on the “Remove Profile” button that appears in the center of the window, and a confirmation window will open up. This is where you need to click on “Delete my Google+ profile” again to confirm that you want to delete your account.

Why Would You Want To Delete All Posts On Google+?

1. You Have No Followers Or Your Posts Are Not Being Shared

If you have no followers, then chances are that you’re the only one who sees your posts. This is a bad practice because you can’t get new followers if there are no other people reading what you post. If you want to increase the number of people who see your posts, then it is important that they be shared by others. Therefore, it makes sense to delete all your old posts.

2. You Don’t Want People To See How Many Times You’ve Posted On Google+

If you don’t want anyone to know how many times you posted on Google+, then deleting all the posts will help hide this information from other users. It will also make it difficult for anyone to find out when and where you posted a certain post. This is a good thing if you don’t want anyone to know about your frequent updates because of the frequency of your posts.

3. You Are Concerned About The Privacy Of Your Profile

If you have a Google+ account and you want to keep the information of your posts private, then it is important that you delete all the old posts from your profile. This will ensure that no one can see any personal details about you such as where and when you posted any post. It will also ensure that no one can find out when and where you posted a certain post.

4. You Want To Give Yourself More Privacy On Google+

If you want to give yourself more privacy on Google+, then deleting all your posts is a good idea because this will allow people to view only the most recent post on your profile page. This means that they won’t be able to see every single post that has been made by you on Google+. If they are unable to view these older posts, then they won’t be able to find out any information about you such as your location, who you are, or any other personal details about you.

5. You Don’t Want To Be Seen As Inactive On Google+

If you’re not active on Google+, then it is important that you delete all your past posts to ensure that no one can tell that you’re not very active on the social network. This will make others think that you have stopped posting on Google+ and therefore they should stop doing so as well. The more people stop posting, the fewer people will see your posts and this will leave a negative impression of your profile page.

Deleting All Posts On Google+ At Once

1. Delegate all the posts to other users

This is the most efficient and effective way to delete all your posts on Google+ at once. All you need to do is ask each of your friends to delegate their posts. It may take a while until they do, but this will be worth it in the end. After they have done it, you can easily delete them by using their email address. You can find out their email addresses by going to “Settings” on Google+, then “Manage Profile”, and then clicking on “Possible contacts”. From there, you will be able to see all the people who are already your friends or followers.

2. Notify everyone that you want them to delete theirs too

If you don’t have any friends or followers (otherwise known as “friends of friends”), then this method won’t work for you. But it still gives an efficient way to achieve your goal. As the name suggests, this method is more about a friendly request to delete all the posts of your friends on Google+. It will work best for you if you have a lot of friends who are also active users of Google+. When you post something on Google+, you can use the “Share” button to notify everyone that they should delete their own posts as well. You can check out this article to learn how to share content on Google+.

3. Delete all posts on your profile yourself

If none of the above two methods work for you, then deleting all your posts yourself may be what you need. This is because there are still some ways in which you can do that in a way that won’t be detected by anyone else. You will need to know how to delete all your posts by yourself because it is not possible for anyone else (even if they know about it) to completely remove all the information about your profile from Google+.

How To Delete A Single Post On Google+?

  1. Launch Google+, and log in to your account.
  2. Click the three dots icon (the one with three dots) at the top right corner of the main page, then click on “Settings”.
  3. Click on “All posts” at the left column of the page, and you’ll see a new drop-down menu, titled “Delete posts”. There are all your posts from all your different accounts, listed in this menu. Go through them and choose which one(s) you want to delete from here. You can also select multiple posts at once by holding down the CTRL key while clicking on each post you want to delete. You can also select all of them by clicking on the “Select All Posts” button at the bottom of this menu.
  4. Click on the “Delete posts” button and confirm that you wish to delete these posts permanently by clicking the OK button in a pop-up box.

How To Delete Multiple Posts On Google+ At Once Using The Advanced Options?

1. Log in to your account

If you’re already logged into your Google+ account, then you can skip to the next step. If not, then it’s time to log in. Click here and log in.

2. Access the Advanced Options on Google+

Head into your Google+ profile settings by clicking on the gear icon at the top right of your screen. Then scroll down to “Advanced options” and click on it. This will take you directly to where you can manage all of your posts and other content that is visible on your profile and timeline pages. You can also access this menu through the Profile drop-down menu at the top of any page on Google+.

3. Click on “Delete Posts”

When you click on “Delete Posts” at the bottom of this page, it will bring up a list of all of your posts from all the different pages that are visible on your profile or timeline. You can use the color-coded buttons to quickly select the ones that you want to delete.

4. Click on “Delete” to remove them all at once

Once you have selected all of your posts, click on the big “Delete” button at the bottom. This will delete your posts from every page where they are visible. It will also delete any comments and shares that were attached to them too. It’s worth mentioning that not every post you make is going to be visible or shared on other pages, so it may not be a good idea to completely remove everything from your profile if most of your content is only going to be seen by a few people or no one at all. Still, it’s always good to get rid of those unwanted posts and comments as soon as possible if they are getting in the way of your updates.

5. Refresh your profile to see the changes take effect

After you click on “Delete,” you will be prompted to refresh your profile. You can do this by clicking on the icon that looks like a cloud in the top-right corner of your screen. You will then see a message saying “Your posts were deleted.” Click on it and you will see that all of your posts and comments have been deleted from all of the pages where they were visible before you clicked that button. Keep refreshing until every last post is gone or, at least, unreadable as it cannot be saved anymore.

Final Words

As you can see, deleting all posts on Google+ can be done in a variety of ways. It doesn’t matter if you want to delete all posts at once or delete a single post; there is a way to do it. Hopefully, this article helped you learn how to delete all your posts on Google Plus.
